I aim to make a note of some of the lovely hikes around the area near Andermatt.  The descriptions are meant as a guide, I would suggest you check my notes against official maps and websites.  I don't intend to tell you about the things you can work out from maps, ie altitude, but I will try and tell you about the things you can't see on the map, like how the path is underfoot.

Useful website links:

map.geo - for maps

SRF - for weather

Search.ch - for weather

SBB - for train and bus information

We tend to look at the weather forecast and head to where looks best, so I'll organise the walks in geographic area.
