The Sherbornes Art Exhibition is a biennial event formed over 8 years ago by artists Pat Burt and Lindsay Berry, not only to exhibit their own work but to invite different artists each year to join them in raising funds for charities close to their hearts.

Works from the original group of painters led by Mike Hall, a professional artist, comprising Pat Burt, Richard Turner, Tom Anderson, Jenny Finch, Nicky Bunker, Judith Hinsley, and Linda Bliss are included along with invited local guest artists, sculptors and ceramicists.  Lindsay Berry is an individual Watercolour artist and one of the principal driving forces of the exhibition.

The aim is to keep the exhibition as “local” as possible, whilst providing a quality show with a variety of artistic styles and many of our 24 guest artists donate a piece of artwork towards our silent auction.  This exhibition gives the viewing public an interesting view of the creative talent around our area and the chance to obtain original artwork at very reasonable prices.  The Village Hall committee provides lunches and teas throughout the weekend and while also supporting them we have chosen the benefiting charity this year to be Sebastian's Action Trust – Bluebells at North Waltham.
