This was image taken one evening when spring had arrived very early. I loved that it was winter on one side of the valley and spring on the other. The crocuses had just sprung up to carpet the meadows.

This image was taken on holiday on an early morning walk. I was walking over a bridge where I could look down on steps going down into the water. I loved the minimalist feel to the scene and the ripples made by the coot standing in the water.

My favourite days to photograph in the Alps in the winter are those that start really foggy but then very suddenly the clouds start to break up and the sun shines through low clouds illuminating crisp snow.
