Yellow leaves
Yellow leaves in a woodland stream. This was only taken a couple of weeks ago but went past the other day all the leaves were gone, autumn is nearly over and winter is coming, I wonder what delights it will bring.
The local tropical jungle
I posted this picture to Instagram yesterday, I wasn't sure if it would work on social media as it's so pale and detailed. Sometimes it seems that pictures need to be loud and colourful to be noticed.
In the local woods we have an area planted with a variety of eucalyptus plants, it's very odd but on a foggy morning you really could imagine you were in the middle of an exotic jungle - apart from the cold and the lack of koalas!!
Anyway, I hope you like it and are having a nice calm and peaceful Sunday.
Just a little leaf
Just a little fern leaf, I love them, I can't come back from a walk in the woods without a few pictures of ferns. The shapes are addictive, I loved the curl of this one.
Golden woodland
It's a very grey, windy and damp day here so I thought I'd share an image from a sunnier day a week ago when the woods were looking magical.
Escape to the coast
Just before lockdown started we managed to squeeze in a quick trip to Dorset, to the coast!! I'd not managed to get to the sea before in 2020 and I do love being by the sea. We arrived to the most amazing light, it was so dramatic and beautiful. We got a little damp on our walk but it was really worth it, I would not have swapped it for blue and sunshine!
