Summer meadow
Another summer image, this time from an evening walk in a local field a couple of weeks ago. The field has been planted with a mix of plants beneficial to wildlife which includes a (unknown) yellow flower which really glowed in the evening light.
Late summer flower
Just a summer flower, I loved the colours in this dahlia (have I mentioned I hate pink!) and those in the background, they just say 'summer garden' to me.
Rosebay willowherb
Once again it has been too long since I posted a picture. I've not stopped taking pictures over the summer, I taken too many and not spent much time sorting, processing and uploading! It's been a funny old summer weather-wise and all of a sudden there are hints of autumn in the air so I am going to try and get some summer pictures posted before summer disappears.
This is an image from last summer. I love to photograph Rosebay Willowherb and it's one of the subjects which every year I try and find a new way to photograph it. I loved the summery feel to this image.
Hawthorn flowers
Another from the picture from the local woods and a great sign of spring. I just love the simple beauty of the white flowers against the spring green.
