I am pleased to say that I will be taking part in the West Berkshire & North Hampshire Open Studios event in May 2015.

Following on from my successful exhibition in Chilton Foliat in 2014, this year I am pleased to be joining Arty Pumpkin and Emma Moscow in exhibiting at Stockcross House. I love looking through my camera and finding something, whether natural or man made, detailed or simple, from which to create a piece of art. I am excited to be sharing with you a variety of images from the United Kingdom and abroad.

When:

We will be open to visitors on the following days in May from 11am until 5pm:

  • Saturday 2nd, Sunday 3rd, Monday 4th
  • Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th
  • Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th

Where:

Church Road,Stockcross, Near Newbury, Berkshire, RG20 8LP
Plenty of free, easy access car parking available

Along with the artwork you will be able to explore the beautiful Stockcross House gardens.

What there will be to see:

All the pieces I have on display on the walls are new, they have never been exhibited before.  In addition to Giclée method prints I will have two new products on display; wooden box framed prints and aluminium mounted prints.  The box framed prints are super beautifully finished and offer a contemporary picture display option.  They are very flexible as they are super light and can either be hung or free stand on a shelf.

One of the wonderful things about the aluminium mounted prints is that they can be hung outside as they are weather proof, the perfect thing to brighten up a plain wall or a dull corner of the garden.

Alongside the displayed 'framed' images I will also have some mounted prints for you to view and a large range of greetings cards with my images on.

Arty Pumpkin and Emma have also been hard at work preparing beautiful things for you to see.  Arty Pumpkin has a wide collection of originals artwork to share with you including her pieces that mix typography with drawing and painting.

Emma will be bringing a selection of her couture hats and headdresses for you to see, and who knows, perhaps even try on!

The Garden

In addition to all the art on display in the exhibition we are also excited that the wonderful Stockcross House garden will also be open to the public whilst we are open.  The garden does occasionally open for the National Garden Scheme, raising money for many different charities.  There will be no charge for Open Studios visitors to enjoy the gardens but we ask that if you can, you give a small donation that will be passed on the NGS. The garden combines beautiful planting along with some fantastic pieces of sculpture and craft works, in particular there are some stunning gates.  I will add some more photos of the garden soon.
