Winter walk in the woods

These three images were taken in the woods early one morning in December. Recently I have been experimenting with panoramic images, mostly 2:1 ratio. I live near an area of managed, commercial woodland where the evergreen trees seem to reach to the sky. The morning started out rather dull but when the sun broke through the grey cloud it sent bursts of mist into the air. I rarely create mono images but here it seemed to work. Here’s three images taken close together.
