I do love to be beside the sea although I never seem to get there as often as I'd like, but perhaps that's part of what makes it special. I had a lovely late afternoon wander between the Witterings earlier this summer. When I arrived there was thick cloud but as the sun dipped in the sky the cloud broke up and it turned into a glorious evening. See below for a behind the scenes view I grabbed as I did a quick walk back to my car much later than planned! As ever!

Happy #WorldPhotographyDay!! I've had such a busy summer and have taken so many pictures, I'm quite overwhelmed with selecting some to share. This one was taken early in the morning walking the local public footpaths on one of the hottest days of the year. I'd planned to be home before it got too hot but as ever got distracted taking pictures so I was a bit warm capturing this summer scene.
