There are lots of little things I love about summer, well all seasons to be honest! A summer favourite are the fields of buttercups which suddenly appear out of nowhere, I love the carpet of yellow flowers which bob in the wind and every year I love to sit in amongst them with my camera and capture them, a simple pleasure!

Lilypads

Just some lily pads (or is it lillypads?!) I just loved shapes and colours.
This was taken at RHS Wisley on one of their photography mornings where they have a limited number of early morning tickets so a few people get to enjoy the quiet gardens, if you are local, it is really worth getting up early for and it's becoming a regular get together for some of the SheClicks gang, such a lovely bunch of photographers.

A day at the beach

Another picture from our trip to South Wales. I loved this bit of beach where there was a small river running down into the sea causing lots of lovely ripples. I was very glad to have my wellies on so I could get in close and enjoy a bit of a paddle. I hope you're having a fab week.

Fabulous Foxgloves

Happy Monday Morning and Happy Summer Solstice!
It's not feeling very summery out there today so I thought I'd share some sunny foxgloves with you. These towering spires of flowers amaze me, the way they shoot up so high so quickly, nature is just amazing, I love that the bees love them too.

Raindrops - or not?!

Gosh, it's been so wet here today, hopefully the plants will love it! It has given me an opportunity to have a photo sort out. I thought I'd share this one which sort of looks like raindrops but it was actually the splashes from water pouring from a pipe into a small local river, swipe to see behind the scenes and the gorgeous river.
