Royal Docks
A last batch of pictures from the Royal Docks on the Thames on a lovely misty Monday morning in March. These were all taken with my Lensbaby Sol 45 lens which I loved because it added an extra bit of blur and softness to the already soft light.

Peaceful London
On my walk by the Royal Docks one morning at the start of March, one of the things I noticed was the overwhelming feeling of peace and tranquillity despite the road noise and the aeroplanes landing at London City Airport which is next door to the dock. These rowers enjoying their morning exercise were right next to the runway of the airport which is to the right of the picture.

Another image from my foggy morning walk in London when I was there for The Photography Show. I loved this art deco. building and its reflection. It was built from concrete in 1933. Sadly it is derelict at the moment but there are plans to renovate it for business use, I hope they do a good job and keep its character.
SheClicks February Challenge 'Music, Instruments and Musicians'
The SheClicks challenge for February was ‘Music, Instruments and Musicians’ – a subject I don’t know much about! I decided to borrow a musical friend’s instruments for an afternoon and create some black and white close-up images.

Misty morning in East London
This time last week I was preparing to go up to London with my SheClicks gang to The Photography Show. This year it was held in the ExCeL centre in East London, an area I did not know at all. I was booked into a hotel for 3 nights and I was determined to get out at some point with my camera and in the end I managed two walks. On Monday morning I woke up to very misty/foggy conditions and I had to get out. I took my Lensbaby Sol 45 with me which was perfect to add a bit more softness to the view.
