Icy bubbles

Well there might be signs of spring around but I thought I'd look back to our October trip to the mountains. The first snow had just arrived and I got so excited by the icy puddles! I had so much fun exploring all the details but I had to work quickly as the temperature soon rose and the ice started to disappear before our eyes.

I was having a little sort out of pictures and found this one from 2 years ago!! I am surprised I'd not uploaded it before so here goes.... I love the way these reeds dance and sparkle in the winter light, I need to go and visit them again. I hope you're having a fab weekend

Snow day!

Happy World Snow Day! I couldn't not post a picture today as I love snow! This picture was taken last year when I got up early for what was forecast to be a snowy walk but there was not a flake in sight, I was so cross but went out anyway. Half an hour later I was in an amazing blizzard with huge flakes, turned out the snow was running late, as was I by the end of the morning, my hour walk took more than 3, it was too gorgeous to go home!

My-Best-9-IG

Well it's been a strange year with so many things not going to plan, it's all been a bit discombobulating. I've found photography hard in the second part of the year which is why I've not posted much and it's interesting that my pictures which have received the most likes on Instagram are from last winter. I try not to get hung up on stats but I do find it interesting to see if follower favourites are also mine, and many of my favourites are in this grid. So on to 2022, who knows what that will bring but I wish you all the best and may your year be full of wonderful moments.
