Bluebell season!
The bluebells appearing is, for me, the end of spring and the start of summer. I didn't think I would get out to see them this year but I managed a last minute day trip with a friend, and it was a fabulous day. I loved the mix of the bright green new leaves against the wonderful blue/purple of the bluebells. This patch is definitely going in the diary for next year!

Spring is here!
I have taken so many spring flower pictures recently, I think I better start posting some! Hope you're all enjoying springtime for those in the northern hemisphere (and enjoying heading for autumn colours for those in the south).
The flowers are coming
It's so nice to see the flowers coming out and everything seems to be bursting at the moment, faster than I can photograph and process the pictures! Here's a picture of a Hellebore, the earliest flowers in my garden, taken last year lying on my very damp lawn but I love looking up at them.
Winter shadows
Another winter pic before spring kicks in. I love winter shadows and snowy, frosty rivers so I was super excited when I spotted this scene, there is something so magic about winter light and colours.
