Liminal spaces
In March this year I spent four days at the NEC in Birmingham at The Photography Show. In between the busy times in the exhibition, I found time to explore the corridors near the exhibition looking for pictures. I loved the architecture, in particular the stairs and some of the quiet, in between spaces, plus the graphics and signs.

Back garden safari

It’s been a super busy month! I’ve been out and about with my camera a couple of times but not I’ve not really had the chance to sort through and process some images. I took the opportunity yesterday to get out in my garden for a little bug safari. There were so many different bugs but catching them in a good position is another matter! It was a gorgeous evening but a little breezy for photographing tiny things, it was nice to be out looking for pictures though.
It's bluebell season!
It’s bluebell season! It’s arrived super early this year and I’ve not yet got out to enjoy the carpet of blue in the local woods. I thought I’d couple of pictures from last year, I hope to have some 2026 pictures soon but who knows!

Blackthorn blossom
There’s something so lovely about Blackthorn blossom. It’s so delicate and erupts on local bushes when the branches are still bare. Seeing the bushes turn into clouds of white froth are a sure sign spring is here.
