I'm so very behind with sorting and sharing pictures. I am still working on my pictures from Venice and spring is springing up everywhere so I've been enjoying the flowers too!
Whilst this years flowers are popping up, there are still some beautiful faded flowers from last year. I loved how delicate these hydrangea heads were and the golden colour.

The snowdrops are already out and I've not managed to get out and capture any yet! I thought I'd share a picture from the past, taken locally on a walk along a woody footpath full of early blooms.

I've not posted much recently as I've been off on a little adventure. I have been to Venice via the Alps and, needless to say, taken quite a lot of pictures! I always find photography in the Alps hard, especially in the winter and this year, when there has been a serious lack of snow, it was even harder.

Here's a picture taken on a glorious afternoon walk. I have often seen this distinctive tree but until now, I have never managed to get a picture I like.

I hope to have some pictures from Venice to share soon and the snowdrops are already out and calling me to get out and photograph them.
