Foggy walk on the Common
Oh my goodness, I don't know where autumn disappeared to this year. One minute it was late summer and the now we already to seem to be in full winter! We had a lovely few days of fog a week or so ago, before the hard frost and a sprinkling of snow arrived. I did manage to get out and about with my camera one foggy morning to enjoy the colours and have a little bit of a play with multiple exposures. (click on the image to see it larger)

Autumn leaves and shadows
Two of the things I love about autumn are golden leaves and the low sunshine which makes beautiful shadows on buildings. This picture was captured in Italy and I just loved the mix of the urban structure, nature's lovely shadows and the fallen leaves which caught on the gate.
Autumn gold
The beech trees in our local woods are just starting to turn from green through yellow and there's a few golden leaves starting to appear. This picture is from last year, now I just need it to it stop raining so I can get out and create some new pictures.
