Often at this time of year I look back to see which of my images have received the most likes and comments and which images were my favourites. This year I have not posted as many images as I would have liked and there are so many pictures sitting on my hard drive waiting to be processed and shared. I have found my Instagram experience to be different end of 2025 to how it was at the start with far fewer likes and interactions in recent months. For this reason I’ve chosen this year not to put together a ‘best’ set of image based on Instagram interactions and instead, select a few of my favourite images from 2025 to share as a bit of a reflection. My resolution for 2026 is to share more pictures!

This time last year the SheClicks monthly challenge was ‘after dark’. Until this challenge I’d not really been out and about with my camera in the dark but I really enjoyed it and it’s something I’ve tried to do more of this last year, it’s a lovely way to embrace the darker season. Here’s one of the first images I created in the Cotswolds during December.
